Laros by Prisma Electronics has been awarded with the Energy Efficiency Award 2020

Laros by Prisma Electronics has been awarded with the Energy Efficiency Award sponsored by Class NK during SMART4SEA Awards Ceremony.

LAROS received the award for offering an innovative system that enables remote monitoring and analysis of vessel operational parameters. The LAROS system is a versatile tool that provides diagnosis, prognosis, and early warning by collecting and transmitting data to the operations’ center in real-time.

Presenting the award, Seiichi Gyobu, Regional Manager of Eastern Mediterranean Sea and Northern Black Sea, ClassNK, said “The energy efficiency is always a key issue in the industry. Nowadays, it is attracting more and more attention because of the growing capability supported by the development of digital technology. The LAROS system is explained as a versatile tool that enables automatic reporting, regulatory compliance, hull & machinery monitoring, voyage parameter monitoring and optimization and more.”

Accepting the award on behalf of LAROS, Ms. Dimitra Marina Giordamli, Corporate Affairs, stated “Our company’s first priority is customers’ needs. LAROS attracted the most votes by the end of the voting period which held online during a two-month period.
