Laros at Startup Europe comes to Silicon Valley

Prisma Electronics’ spin-off company Laros presented its products to investors in Silicon Valley as part of the European Innovation Day event held in Northern California on September 21, 2015. Laros, which manufactures remote-vessel management systems, was chosen as one of 15 promising European «Scaleup» and possible Unicorn companies in the European market.

Laros and the cohort of European companies were sent to Silicon Valley to represent the future of innovative European manufacturing. Together these companies have a combined annual turnover of $60 million, and employ more than 1,000 workers. The companies’ product-lines include SaaS, PaaS, nanotechnology, electronic management, digital marketing, online HR, IT, shipping & marine technology, advanced materials, and renewable energy sources.
